Tennessee tenant screening records contain data from as early as 1986 depending on courts searched and the type of offense registered. Information obtained through screening cannot be used to alter a current rental agreement, unless the tenant is shown to have breached said agreement.

Court records are kept on a public database for felony convictions. The report, beginning in 1990, can list any known aliases.
Department of Corrections
The Department of Corrections records felony and misdemeanor convictions from 1990 onward. Information such as date of birth and social security number may be included with the report.
Eviction information can be searched up to seven years prior to the request.
The state of Tennessee allows for consumer reports to be generated for an individual’s driving history up to five years prior to the request.
