Ohio tenant screening records contain data from as early as 1977, depending on courts searched and the type of offense registered. Information obtained through screening cannot be used to alter a current rental agreement, unless the tenant is shown to have breached said agreement.

Court record archives vary greatly from county to county. With years ranging from 1977, to 2004 as the starting date for their archives; felonies, misdemeanors, traffic records, and municipal violation records can be listed.
Department of Corrections
The Department of Corrections records felony convictions from 1990 onward. Information such as date of birth and social security number may be included with the report.
Eviction information can be searched up to seven years prior to the request.
The state of Ohio allows for consumer reports to be generated for an individual’s driving history up to three years prior to the request. An application must be sent to LexisNexis prior.
